The copper arm is cracked almost all the way across right at the 90* bend. Apparently, it's not strong enough to last through 200K miles of the brake arm slamming against it each time the brake is released.

Of course, no one stocks the part so I guess I'll be ordering.

At least it was simple, I was anticipating a chaffed wire somewhere that I was going to have to track down.
I have done about 3 in my truck........simple fix....but stupid design.....

A really bad design. After playing with it a little bit, I realized how much pressure it takes to push the arm back to open the switch. Combine that with the hard it it takes when the brake is released, that's just asking for something on that switch to break.

Looks like this weekend is gonna be a total washout.

We need the rain.....so im not complaining. Would have been nice to get some yard work done today...and watch it rain all evening. But I guess we have had around 1-1.5 inches here in McKinney so far today.

100 percent chance of heavy rain tonight too.

Ill ask you fellars this, I am looking for a 5/8 x 5/8 x 5/8 barb brass T , for my AC mod, bypassing the heater core.

but I can't even find it on the "webbernet" I have been able to find plastic/ nylon T's will they hold up to the heat and pressure??

ps. The dyno event at bully dog last year was fun for the brief time I was there. Heck my backside even made a magazine.

Good luck with that...couldn't find any barb fittings, much less T's. I ended up using regular brass threaded valves and screwed the barb fittings into the ends. So the valves ended up much longer than I'd like.

Yeah I figured we would probably do something for that event as a GTG. I am going to try to plan my trip to Grand Canyon so it doesn't interfere.

Should be a really fun event! Last year was great.
