It always a lot of fun. Maybe a little better turn out next time.

PS...Robert's trailer makes a great wind break!

Yeah im hoping there will be some videos on the ODRA website. We weren't very organized in doing video ourselves this go around.

My best time was 7.0652!!! Got the time slip to prove it...

Actually.....on the 7.0652 run......I smoked out the light beams....and it messed up the times in round 1 of the "round robin"...with me against RJ.

They had us rerun the heat.....with some blowers brought in place to keep the smoke off of the beams. In that heat........I had a 8.80 dial in and ran a 8.8534......to take the win over RJ who ran a 8.8331 but had a 8.70 dial in.

Round 2 of the Round Robin.....I ran a 8.7507 and lost due to a breakout against a dang duramax who ran a 10.0243. (not sure of his dial in) I tried to run him down.....but if I had slowed down I might have got him by being closer to my dial in time...and not under it.

Micah said I won the first set of time trials....for no NOS. My best time was a 8.4869. I didn't know I was in the running for anything....but i'll take it.

I never dreamed I was winning anything....since I spent I don't know how many runs just learning how to boost launch. I did a bunch of runs early in the day in the 9s. Later I got the hang of it some....and did most of my runs in the 8.80 range.

by the way....all of my runs are stock injectors, stock cp3, stock turbo and rolling on 35'' mud terrains.........weighing in the 8200lb range.

Smarty and MP 8 only for power and a built trans.

Glad to help out and glad you got some good sleep Rowland. Sorry I missed you this morning. I was out like a light last night!

Thanks Charlie....for having us up to The Ranch again. As usual it was alot of fun.

I took Mike's advice and swapped those frame bolts around and turned the Hellwig Sway bar the other way.....and it fits better now. It would have worked as is.....but it is aligned up a little better now and not rubbing the exhaust.

That was the other deal for my times, I never got on the throttle hard until I was past 2400 rpm in 3rd, just more or less eased out until I knew I had a high enough gear to keep traction, then I impressed myself on how fast I was rowing through the gears.

Redline was fun as usual... I was glad one of us won money again (way to go Robert) and no one broke (thanks God!).

Since we were wrestling with Smarty's torque management/defueling in the pits, we couldn't get the '05 back up to the line fast enough for a re-run with Buck after he broke out, so the track officials backed us out of the staging lanes.

Our last pass of the day I paired up with Micah for a fun run and finally got an acceptable launch, then edged past for the win light - even though the truck had slowed down by several MPH after ~10 passes.... it was major heat-soaked.

Pretty good for shakedown trials - w/o fine-tuning the software, no coolant in the air/liquid IC, R49 not installed, NO2 bottle empty and no water sprayed, crankcase evac disabled, racing shoes not mounted, no weight removed, etc.

Can't wait for TS' quarter... this thing's a beast in triple digits.

Mike - What was your ET/Speed on that last run.

Micah ran a 8.29/85.39 when he beat me (8.44/83.09). If you beat that 8.29 with the set up you were running....great things should be there in the near future!
I was slower later on.... Wondered if Micah was also?

No Bus Shootout! Only one bus showed.

Justin & Mike - On my Window Motor.... Good News/Bad News!
Good News = Was not motor...it's the regulator.
Bad News = Can buy Motor w/o Regulator.... but not a regulator w/o a motor.

So, if anyone ever needs a window motor ...I have one for sale!
Slightly used. Only used to drive little old ladies to the store and never operated in an 1/8 mile, a 1/4 mile, or in a street race.... and never opened over 100 mph!

My quickest run of the day was the last due to the launch, but the fastest - 87mph - was early on before heat-soak.

Definitely has HP.

So, the window regulator?
How much was it?
I'd be tempted to bypass it and run switched voltage direct to the motor... another half-hour of wrenching at Charlie's and we might have done just that to keep you dry!

Would have been nice to see Scott there to race. Cody did a best of 8.05 which was the lowest run of the day.....on NOS. He was very dissappointed it didn't run better.

Thanks Mike! And I second the motion about no one breaking!!

It was fun lining up against the Blue 05.........and actually win a round against it.... I know it won't ever happen again against that truck.
