First I've heard about it. Where is it posted? Probably too far but..... never know.

Isn't Alvarado this month?

If I'm correct, alvarado is the september 6th event or whatever the next event date is.

The one I'm talking about I just found out about a week ago. It's at lethal performance in san antonio. It would be one heckuva haul for you from oklahoma. Only reason I'm going is that it's only an hour or so away from me so now a big deal. That and my buddy ramario is bringing his 800+hp 3rd gen to dyno with. They are hoping to bust 900+ after this recent round of stuff.

DTR shortens the links it displays using the .. in place of the missing characters. You must have pulled that link from somewhere else. My displayed text looks the same as yours, but the actual URL behind my link has the full path. When you roll over the link with your mouse, you can see the linked URL in the bottom status bar.

I'm going to do some kind of install...not sure which. I've got the big boys, but found a set of smaller ones. Trying to decide now if I'm feeling up to the task of two swaps.

This man is good!

Found a set of Mach 4s in the TDR classifieds, they should be on their way to me shortly.

But I also have a set of Mach 6s on the shelf in the garage right now. Thinking of swapping them in to see how they behave, I just don't think I have the mods to actually run them. I could make it happen empty without the TST, but I think that any other scenario would be hot or broke.

Me will recommend against the 6s with your towing ! I run all electronics off when towing heavy with mine, and while I dont have to be on the pyro like a hawk I definitely keep it in the corner of my eye... I am very conservative with towing temps as well so maybe too conservative (I dont sustain over 1150-1200 and never let it touch over 1300* towing, water temp and oil temp startes to creep... 220*ish and the fan will start to howl, prolly time to clean that radiator out too! )... I really dont believe I would be comfortable or happy towing without the twins...

Soooo my vote is Mach 4s!

Hmmm... lotsoframblehopeitmakessense! lol

It makes perfect sense to me. While I'm not always towing, when I am, it's usually big. Since the 6s without TST would basically equate to me running my current setup all on kill (which I never do when towing), I think I'd be keeping an eagle eye on the pyro.

Plus, since I am lacking in the modifications to keep the head where it belongs, water and higher boost are not options to help cool anything down at this point.

Although, nothing is stopping me from trying the 6s for a short while. I just won't put a trailer behind me.

I'm finally all moved in down here in austin. Still dont have internet or cable yet. Currently I'm stealing somebody's wireless signal. I'm loving my new job. It's exactly what I expected and what I wanted to be doing.

Could be because we're halfway into August and this is the July thread...

How long 'til you move?
