Wish I had a camera

I am building a new house on 3 acres of freshly cleared land, mix that with 2 months of rain almost every day and it makes for a tough time to build a road. To make a long story short a gravel truck with a wagon both full of 3" road crush got stuck in my driveway. Having no other means of pulling him out I hooked up the chain to my reciever ball and the other end to his tow hooks set her in 4-low 2nd gear and started slowly releasing the clutch as to not spin, the cummins gruted down and the BFG'S hooked up and to my and the drivers surprise out popped the gravel truck. Every day I am impressed and to top it off I am up 2mpg more than last month. Could it be the Edge?? ;D ;D ;D

Contrats. These trucks will pull over a house if they have the traction. ;D
Probably is the EZ. I have heard that some power mods will give you better mielage. ;D

Chris

That is cool 8).
Any chance you could get a camera and then talk the driver into coming back out and getting stuck again?

Re:Wish I had a camera

I gained 2mpg with my edge ez also according to the overhead computer. Then I calculated my mileage by hand and realized that the computer was wrong :'( But, even with the same mileage, the ez is worth the investment ;D ;D ;D

Re:Wish I had a camera

This was a hand calculation my overhead jumped about 4-5. I also have just broke the 50000Km mark, maybe she finally broke in? As well I have changed brands of fuel receantly to shell (it is 9 cents a litre cheaper than anywhere else.) Whatever it is I sure am happy.

Re:Wish I had a camera

Installing my Edge EZ added 2 mpg's here. I got my worst mileage running Shell. The noise was unbearable also, truck sounded like it was full of marbles. Not sure if you have Fas-Gas up there but give it a try. I get my best mileage running it, Petro-can second.

Re:Wish I had a camera

I have run about 500 loaded miles with the EZ hooked up. It did get a mileage increase, but I cannot tell you how much yet, just that there is a difference in the miles obtainable on a tank. May not be able to tell you either as I may install the RV injectors tomorrow
