Notice the bow of the boat has punchod out the redlight itself. Thats a pretty good shot IMO.
Thats going to be one pizzed insurance company! Dont'cha think?

oh come on...even though its only a half ton, i wouldnt think it was anywhere near being over loaded. the trailer is only a single axle so no more than 5k in my opinion...more like 2500 lbs. he just didnt secure his load properly...i wouldve liked to of seen the damage to everything if the transom straps were used though

Is that in Florida, I read and saw pics in the paper here about a week ago. Boat did the same exact thing bit I think it was a fiberglass hull deck boat (like a pontoon boat). It was near my house close to Tampa. Crazy for sure, probably had to toss those briefs!!

Well OBVIOUSLY it would be if you didn't HIT A STINKIN' LIGHT POLE!

Honestly, although we don't have a boat that big anymore, a reasonably heavy strap over the stern area was all we ever had in addition.

Maybe that makes me a moron...
