Went a little nuts (new toy :) )

Decided to help out the economy yesterday.
Bought a new 2009 Keystone Raptor 299MP 5th wheel toy hauler. Bought it from a wholesaler, will be delivered to my house next week.
This is a pic of one that looks just like the one we got:

Since I have a shortbed and already have a B&W turnover ball GN hitch installed, I went with this for my hitch. Plugs into the B&W socket and is a sliding 5th wheel. It's called the Colibert Rail Rider.

Gonna be a long week until next Friday

Thanks y'all
My friend bought a 2009 Weekend Warrior triple axle 39 footer last Saturday. It was used 6 times and he got a smokin' deal on it. My wife and I went and checked his out on Sunday and that was all she needed to finally say "lets do this". We had been kicking the idea around for a while, but seeing the inside of one broke the camels back
I had a list of "must haves" and a list of "would be nice to have", this one fit the bill all the way around and we got an awesome deal too.

Beautiful! What toys are being hauled?

Any more info or specs on that hitch?

Thanks

Here are the toys, a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400, a 2000 Honda XR-250 and a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 800

Here is a link for the hitch: Colibert RailRider

About all I know is that it is rated at 18K, fits in the B&W hole with no drilling, it is a slider and there is "some" assembly required, as it is being shipped in 4 boxes .
The model number is 207BW.
I thought I could go with the Valley Trailer Hitch adapter (fits into a B&W hole) and then buy a Valley Trailer sliding 5th wheel hitch. Problem is, along with their adapter, you need a rail support kit. For Dodge, they only make the kit for 2003 and up model years
The Colibert seemed like the best option (was a about $1000 with free shipping)
The B&W companion was not attractive as it does not have sliding capability.

The garage area is 10' by 8' 2". It will be a tight fit, but I am hoping to get both wheelers in it without turning them. If I have to turn them, they will definitely fit, but it will be a little bit of a pain.

Kevin,
When you come back, take your wife to a dealer and let her see the inside of one, like I said, that's all it took for my wife

Thanks for your service. Keep your head down, OHH RAHH

Great looking setup!

I know of a great place to store things if you run out of room.

Hey Alan,
Is that place a "little" north east of McKinney?

I've got 3 GPS's and an internal nav system in my head. How could I possibly get lost?
The only time I got lost is when I listened to my wife

Thanks for the spot, hope to need it some day
