We are expanding the bus into hot shotting and need a litttle advise

We have an attractive offer to expand our operation and run hot shots for the oil business. We have a customer that will hire us directly so we will be creating our own hot shot business. I believe I will be picking up some cheaper early 3rd gen dually trucks with maual and 4:10 along with some tandam duals 40' gooseneck trailers. If any of you guys have any advice I can use reguarding the easiest and quickest way to obtain all the neccessary requirements, registrations, insurances I would greatly appreciate it. I have been reading quite a bit but some quick answers or links would be great. My head is already spinning and there is a long way to go. From what I see all the driviers will be required to have a cdl but no airbrakes test is needed. Thanks guys.

I would looks at several dedicated LTL type webs such as http://http://www.flatbedcarrier.com/ . This site does have a forum under ltlhotshot.myfreeforum.org.

or

http://www.hotshothauling.com/wowbbs...rum.php?id=105

Search in their "how to" forums. Ask questions but don't go over there with the attitude your gonna' slip by a few rules. Some of those folks are professionals and don't take kindly to illegal haulers.
