Vision 19.5" wheels?

I was looking into (eventually) upgrading wheels and tires to carry more load. Alcoa has 3750# 16" rims that are $150 but there's only 1 type of 16" load range G tire out there that I know of. No clue how much those tires cost either. So no selection and unknown cost.

http://www.custom-wheels.com/v2002/rwdwheels.htm

Someone mentioned the Vision 19.5's might fit our trucks. Can anyone confirm this? They are supposedly only around $160 which is $100 less than Rickson's steel wheels and the tire availability for 245/70/19.5 is huge and the tires are right around $200 new and last for ~75K miles. So for $2000 you've got 5 wheels, mounted and balanced with virgin tires on 'em. Maybe a bit less if you went for retreads in the rear.

FWIW, I ran 19.5 Ricksons before and sold them... and yes, now I regret it.

No offense to Rickson but MUCH less money and aluminum and still rated for 4500# / Rim............. you tell me which you'd prefer.

Any thoughts?

245/70/19.5 goes up to 4940 pounds per tire @ 120 psi. That's load range H.

My Kelly CSR's (235/85/16) are warrantied for 50,000 miles, but I've got over 60,000 on them now and they're only half worn. Granted they carry the 3042# load E range, but if they last another ten thousand miles, they'll have been worth it.

Gee thx njoverkill!! Just when I pretty much had my mind made up on the 19.5's I wanted to go with, you go and find this!! I think they look nice, oh well, I was told I'm indecisive, but I'm not quite sure on that. Back to the drawing board.

I see from your link that the only 19.5's are the TYPE 81- 19.5X7.5 8 Lug.

Do these wheels have the proper back spacing for our trucks?

Who sells them?

I was thinking of Rickson's. The black wheels. I really like the Vision's you found, and the price too.
