If you buy a trailer and plan on keeping it, make sure it's what you want. A trailer with 7k lb. axle rating will be able to haul between 5k and 6k lbs., depending on the weight of the trailer. I have a 16 footer w/7k axles, most of the time it works great but some times I wished I had spent the extra $700 and went with a 20 footer and 12k axles.

Unless I missed it, nobody mentioned driving the rear wheels of the truck up on blocks to ease the loading angle on the trailer.
By the way, that's a beautiful car!

Lightman,

Yep, the front tires have to be hitting the stops at the front of the trailer. It's been a while since I've rented one so I don't remember exactly how those stops are built. From what I can remember, you lay the straps on the trailer and drive over them and then wrap the straps up/around the back side of the tire and then feed it through a ratchet tie-down at the front of the trailer. If your front air dam is too low, maybe you could build/cut some wood to extend the stops under the air dam.

Steve has a great idea to drive the rear wheels of the truck on blocks.

I just drove past a Penske rental place and they had car haulers. You might want to give them a call too.

Good luck
