The thing I find interesting is in 2001 I couldn't trade at any of the 9 dodge dealers within 200 miles for anything less than $18,000 to boot. Now 4 years later I can trade for $13,000 to boot, $5,000 less. I guess these dodge diesels really do appreciate. Maybe I should keep it another 4 years and I could trade for $8,000 to boot.

Called another dealer and checked the vin number. Everything came back o.k. The truck was preped june of 04 for sale, no warrenty claims.

I will do the truck engine run time thing when I get down there to buy it tomorow night. If there is anything else I should check of do please anyone let me know. I do not want a lemon like I bought back in 1999, and have to spend mega bucks on. I just want a truck that I can start and put in drive and pull my camper. The 99 in my signature pulls good now but I will not take a chance on the 53 block cracking. I have spent enough already into this truck.

Thanks for the responses, keep them coming.

Still trying to get the 0% finacing and thousand cash back before I sign. We are still at $13,000 to boot. He says that on a hold over you can not get the thousand cash and 0% but will check further to see.

Just called the dealer and told him the deal is off. I have my truck setup the way I like it and know how it tows. I have more whistles and bells then any new truck out there. Besides back in 2000 when DC voided my warrenty I told them I would never buy another Chrysler corp vehicle and I'am sticking to it.

I will say it was a very good deal, just don't need DC's headaches all over again.

DC has cut so many corners it would take another small fortune just to get what I have in this truck. Yah I know the 53 junk, well maybe one of the other manufactures will have something better to offer when the time comes, maybe I'll still be driving this thing in 20 years, maybe fuel will no longer be available by then, maybe, maybe maybe.
