On another note, I've had big problems ordering online from rv web sights! why is that?
sounds good on the mpg, i get between 13.5-14.8 depending on the terrain.

Neverhme, my apologies but I missed your comment from before about troubles ordering from RV websites. What site did you order from or try to order from? What kind of troubles did you have?

neverhme, I have a lance 845 that I bought when I had my 2002 short bed quad cab. I used it for years without issue, but when I weighed in fully loaded I found I was about 400lbs overweight. I had installed timbrens after the first trip, and it cut out the body roll tremendously. Air bags should do the same and more, as you can level the load again. I never had an issue braking, but I always drove conservatively and down shifted more than usual. Once I realized I was actually overweight, I started dumping my tanks each time I left the campgrounds, travelled with only about 5 gallons in the freshwater tank, and learned to pack lighter. I traded the 2002 (started rusting away from all the crap the northeast states use for melting ice) for a 2009 3500, and really enjoy the exhaust brake. I am sure you will be fine with your driving experience, but I recommend adding a brake if you can, it really gives you confidence on the other side of a long pull. Good luck and enjoy the TC, they are the only way to travel!
