Removing fifthwheel rails

Removing fifthwheel rails
If I remove the fifth wheel rails and brackets from my 2005 truck and put in a B&W, will the frame still be solid and safe. The current brackets were intalled by being drilled into the frame. Also does anyone know how much the B&W weighs. Thanks
