Reciever pin holes?

I was putting my moto tote on for a bike show the other day and noticed that the one hole where the reciever pin goes thru is slightly oblonged. It does not have me worried at this point. Is there a standard repair for this? I was thinking about welding a washer or piece of steel with a fresh hole for the pin to ride in. Its a reese hitch that came with the truck when i bought it. I plan on getting a better hitch down the road. Any ideas? I'm just planing ahead for the next time the truck is by the welder.

That happened to mine too. I just replaced the entire hitch. Not that expensive and now I know all of the bolts and welds are good as new. I figured if the holes were elongated maybe the rest of the hitch was getting old.
