Looks like you had a great trip and your family had a great time. It's good you can take the kids at this age to explore the country. They will remember it for the rest of their lives. I moved to Southwestern New Mexico 2 1/2 years ago and really enjoy it. I still have a lot more to explore. Now that I have a 4x4 I can go up into the mountains to explore the caves and trails. There is a lot to see in this state. Hope you can make it back to this state to see some more of it. I think you could spend a whole summer in this state and not get bored
Thanks for the pix and journal log of your trip.

I think you're right, Hemi Cat. New Mexico is a really neat state. I'm sure we'll be back. It's on the way to a lot of places we have yet to see.

If you have a day to spare when you get back here give me a holler. I live 60 miles north of Las Cruces and have the Caballo lake in front of my house. I have rv hookups and the lake has a state park with rv sites. Very beautiful place. Most rv parks around here charge $10. to 17 per day. If you let me know what part of the state you are planning to go to I could suggest some nice places to go see or pick up a tour guide and mail it to you. Have fun on your next trip.
