Re:RBW hitch

You can get this info from RBW. If you do not find it on the web, I can give you their address and phone number.

If this is the hitch with the large heavy rails that mount lenghwise in the bed, then you have one of the best and strongest hitches made. These rails mount with four bolts going through the bed, the front and third bolts mount to a bracket to the frame.

If you cannot find enough information on the web, I can tell you what you need to know. I have mounted this type hitch several times.

Dan

Deezilla, Go to: http://www.draw-tite.com/
RBW, Reese, Draw-Tite, and Pull-Rite are all within the same corporate umbrella, Lennox Industries. many of the components are the same, i.e, bed rails, mounting brackets and hitch heads.

The Draw-Tite site has installation instructions which can be downl-loaded in Acrobat, PDF Format for printing.

OK, I realize this is a really old thread going back to 02 but I wanted to bring things up to 2013 for future reference. I was given a BRW-85-7 f-37 cross hitch UHS-85. I called Draw-tite with out any help. Was told that BRW went out of business years ago and Draw-Tite was never associated with them in anyway. My concern was mounting the hitch in the correct position and correctly. The only thing I found was a PDF file for the UHS-88-15 which appears to be the exact same equipment I have described as the BRW-85-7 unit. here is a link to that information. All phone numbers and web addresses mentioned prior in this thread are no longer in service or have been changed and are now the wrong numbers as per my experience. For future reference only... http://www.rbwindustries.com/product...5%20Manual.pdf
