I just put my lil rocker in my 04.5 600.
Had it in my 03 and 01 and my 99.
Great hitch and has a million mile warranty
I bolted it in on my 04.5 fished the bolts through the frame.
Took me about 4 hours to put in.
Saved 3 hundred bucks they wanted to put it in.

I installed my RBW last weekend. Welded in. I have always bolted before, but the guidlines set by DM are much more stringent for bolting as they are for welding, when the frame structure is concerned.I would have preferred to bolt, but due to the box frame I welded. I love the hitch!!! My second one.

Chubby, did YOU weld yours in? I did and I am sort of scared now with all these guys whinning about frame stress. I read the dang TSB from dodge, followed the guidlines. I used Mig with 75/25 gas and .035 mild wire, welds look REALLY good, but I am a sissy sometimes. I have been welding for 13 years now, you would think I would be ok with it, but when it is my new baby... you know.

I am in the process of installing my hitch right now and as Chubby stated the back brackets work fine but the front ones need modified to fit to the frame and then they are too short to put in the two bolts as specified in the instructions. Just have the hitch in right now with the brackets bolted to it. Brackets are snugged up against the frame and now I need to find me a good welder to weld them in place. Kind of makes you wonder what DC is thinking when they stated don't weld to the frame yet they welded shock mounts and all kinds of stuff to it.
Another catch is how the rear rail on mine puts the rear holes right into the bed supports making for fun and games getting the nuts and washers on. I'm going to fish short (1 to 1 1/2 inch) bolts up from the bottom side and put the nuts on top of the rail then cut the bolts off. This is the RBW X-16 maybe the Lil Rocker has a slightly different stance.

Me too on the rear bolts. I purchased some grade 8 hex head bolts, and dropped them through the top, then wrapped two nuts with teflon tape. This allowed me to shove the nuts in the end of an open end wrench, then fish the nut into the bred rail support and hold it while I tightened the bolt from above.
