Putting a flatbed on 03 dw,questions
I am probably going to have a flatbed (steel) installed on my 03 duelly in the next few weeks. Never having done this before I have a few questions.
Has anyone mounted a pullright fifth wheel hitch on a flatbed if so what did it take to get it mounted
Does the flat bed alter the handeling characteristics much
any guidance /suggestions will be appreciated

I recently put a flatbed on my 92 Dually and I love it!!!!
I dont have any 5th wheel trailers so I cannot help you there(sorry)
Now on to the next question, the flatbed changed my handling a little but not much. Before, I had a Utility bed on it and it handled like a log truck. But now that I have a flatbed, it is a little lighter on the rear so it bounces around a little but the tires never bounce off the road. I noticed no change in traction or any anything else. I have heard that you notice an even bigger change when you put an aluminum bed on it. Mine was easy to mount to the truck(i have a welder and many other tools) Hope I could be of some Use!!
