The cows will thank you for a cooler riding trailer.

Those boards get slick (which I know you are aware of cause your a seasoned vet at this) quick, so dont hesistate in putting some grating down.

I fabbed up a some grating out of 1/2" sucker rods for a 20' cattle trailer a few years ago. I built 2 sections, with about 1' squares. I put u-bolts on one side so you could pick them up, and tie them off to the side. IT made washing out the trailer much easier, and when properly loaded the cows never fell down.

no just the 24', I would like a smaller trailer in the 14' to 16' range but not worth the money really. I didnt know that I was going to bring the 20' back till about 3 days before I left. Paid my fuel going down and back for bring that trailer back and knocked off another 300 off my trailer. Not a bad deal

I did another load this morning and loaded up hill abit and saw how slick the floor is, I am going to lay down some wire this weekend. I like the idea you did with being able to take them up off the floor to clean the trailer out.

Got to say Texas is a pretty state whiched I could have stayed longer but had to get home.

no backing that up, I got a pretty long grass area next to the right side of the driveway so I was able to pull in it and then pull into a field to turn around.

That pic answers my question. One last question... Would you do it again? Nat
