Popup fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter
Is anyone using a Popup fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter? I would like to find out what the bolt pattern is for mounting it to the pin box. My used fifth wheel apparantlly had an adapter at one time that had 3/8ths holes on about 5 3/4" centers. I am trying to find out if it was a Popup that was mounted on it before I got it.

Beware if you use a gooseneck adapter you will incur in a lot of frame twist.
If your trailer is short (I have a 26ft) it won't be too bad, but if it's above that you will have to pay attention where you drive, or your wall joints, wood frame, etc. will separate or crack.

My 01 3500 came with goose neck ball in bed so I bought an adapter it has 4 1/2 holes in all four corners I pulled a 33 foot 5th wheel from NC to NY and back had no problems. Hope this helps. JERRY
