I just picked up my first RV this morning. The Cummins tows it up a decent grade like it's nothing.

Hey Random Sample - any idea what the real pin weight is on that trailer? It looks like your truck isn't even squatting at all. Are you running air bags or overload springs, or is that stock?

It's stock. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't squat as much as I expected it to. I had thought I may have to buy springs or air bags towing a fifth wheel , but I think it's going to be just fine stock. It tows beautifully.

I don't know what the real pin weight is, but I'd like to go to some scales and get all the weights. The factory says the pin weight at "dry weight" is 1510 lbs. It was empty except for full propane bottles and 45 gallons of water when I towed it home in that photo.

I will try to post pics of my new toy(hauler).

After I towed it home with the nose in the air I put a Equalizer hich on it and leveled it out. 1200# of toung weight empty. Funny Ive had 2500# in the box and it never squated that bad.

Well that dident work so you will just have to click on the links.
