Here is a good pic of dad's 04.5 and my 02, mine sounds better, looks, better, and has a ton more power, but i like his because I don't have to shift all the time.

Heaviest load thats been on dads truck yet. We didnt tow it anywhere but were just checking to see how the springs would handle a heavy load with that trailer. he used the trailer to go pick up a 1-ton chevy pick-up with a dump bed in virginia yesterday. he said it didn't haul too bad.

Agreement

I am in agreement with mopar. Now if the trailer was one that had tandems in middle point of bed I could see the dozer being positioned to give no weight on kinpin. With the type trailer pictured I would bet 20k or more of pin weight. Great picture though.

YA its photoshoped. I read on anouther diesel site where the owner posted the pics in a thread a lot like this. He said that there was no load on the truck just backed it under the trailer for the heck of it. He did photoshop the pic to get rid of the dollys. He said total combined weight of the cat and trailer was somwhere around 160k. The truck would be flat as a pancake.

The 5th wheel hookup could work, I had one in my 96 Dodge that was the same size as the OTR trucks.

That's true since they use a standard 2" SAE king pin. You can tow a fifth wheel camper with a class 8 tractor, in fact many RVers do just that.
Larry Ziegler has made a business out of converting Volvo's for RV towing, you can go to his website HERE.
