I don't have pictures of the reservoir but I have a tank mounted under the bed in front of the spare tire, a line running to each bag from the reservoir and of course a fill line all tee'd together. Very simple. I did use larger lines between the reservoir and bags.

Having added 5k lbs overload springs to my truck, I would definantly say go Airbags. 1. they are cheaper, and 2. they are adjustable. I Added the springs to improve the handling with a 9.5 ft truck camper, the truck did not sit down enough to make hard contact with the overloads, even with the camper on it. Resulted in some odd handling characteristics on uneven roads. Unloaded, the truck still rides good to a point. There are some railroad tracks that will cause the truck to 'hit' the overloads without a load. Its like slaming into the bumpstops. I cant imagine that aired down airbags would limit the suspension travel nearly as much as super heavy overloads. I now have about 2 1/2 inches of travel. The main reason I went with the springs is axle wrap. With a load on I have very little of it now, used to be an issue. Still an issue with an MT truck though so traction bars would be better. Just my thoughts, good luck.

I had Firestone Ride-Rites on my '98 and now tried the Timbrens on my '07. I like the Timbrens for installation ease and absolute zero maintenance - don't hhave to fill, check, let air out, depressurize when empty.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the airbags, but could never find the really slow leak on the left one. Now, I don't ever have to worry about it.

My Megadually is a repo wrecker, and I added a set of Timbrens and 3 extra leafs.
I won't say that it is the ride everyone wants but it works for me.
I have picked up 26' box trucks and the only give I get is out of the frame between the cab and bed!
I tend to pick up the stuff no one else will touch.
