thanks, i'm going to be helping a friend set up his brake controller on a truck that didn't come with the 7-way plug. he bought the dodge harness to adapt the 4-way that the truck did come with to the 7-way, and that has been installed. i haven't seen the truck yet and he doesn't know where to look, or what to look for. i would assume that the brake plug would be in about the same place on the 1500's, left of the steering column and up under the dash. if it is it would make the controller that much easier to install. thanks again

My Dakota had it. The line for the brake was in the back near the 4-way plug. I adapted the 4way to 7way and spliced the brake line in. The plug is up on the firewall to the left.
