Nitto Crosstek tire review (short version)
I ordered them (285/70/17) since they were marketed especially for heavy trucks. They look great.
Unfortunately they have very squishy sidewalls for a supposedly "e" rated tire. When changing lanes at speed you get the "waggle" pretty bad. I have to tow my 15K fiver at the end of the week and I'm no longer looking forward to it.
I'll dump them as soon as I can afford it and go back to a decent tire.
They would probably do good on a lighter truck...like a 1/2 ton.

What air pressure are you running in the tires?
The 'squishy' feeling may not be the sidewalls but the treads squirming. Couple of good heat cycles will firm it up and takes about 500 miles.
I had the same issue with the Toyo AT's until the tires broke in.
