H.I.D. I understand what you're saying I've had'em loaded tail heavy and they do sway badly. I was just saying a certain weight on the truck should make it as stable as it's going to get. And what you said about steering axle I have seen that first hand! When I busted the center out of my clutch the guy came in a 1 ton wrecker as he was lifting the back wheels of my truck off the ground I knew this was going to be interesting. It was a scary ride and when we got to the garage he turned the wrecker didn't we centered a cedar tree I thought we had wiped my truck out He said he should have brought a roll back! I'm sure the 25% rule is a good rule of thumb I just think when you get to a certain weight you might want to lower the % a little.

Okay so we have a three car trailer that weighs 2000 lbs and another guy that bought a three car trailer for $1500. Thats only $.75 per pound. I sure would like to know where they sell those!!! I think you guys should think about opening a trailer lot and let me know where I can find you...so I can stay away from it!!

A couple yrs. ago when the cops started checking car dealers after the auctions. They found several way overloaded with dealer plates on there trucks, which is a big no-no, hauling over 26k without cdl.
There were lots of 3 car wedges selling cheap.
I bought mine then not knowing WHY, I soon found out. Luckily I was registered to 26k and only had small cars on, I was just under 26k.
The cops do watch around the auctions in PA.
