Talking newby towing questions

hi guys ive had my dodge for awhile now and finally got a 5er to hook up to her,im just in the process of wiring her up.is this an easy task?also the brake controller,is it easy to install?are all dodges pre wired for a brake conoller?also sinse the dodges are so high in the rear has anyone taken out the huge blocks in the rear and used 2wheel drive blocks?i havent hooked up the hitch yet but just from measering i can tell its not gonna be level and the axles are already flipped on the 5er.its my first 5er,21ft,6k wieght.any tips or pointers would be great thanx guys

Dave I have a wildcat (in my pics) and they installed the hitch from the dealer. I have about 5-6" to the bed rails, it has gotten close and you hold your breath but everytime it cleared and no problems.
I would recommend the prodigy brake contoller I just switched to it from an envoy and love it. I got the plug and wire with it for free just plug it in mount it and go.

not sure on the 2nd gens but i know there are 2 spacers on the rear axle that can be removed for a lower rear. i would assume the 2nd gen have spacers
