Hi,

I got my breaksmart yesterday 3/31/ ordered it on 3/10, but I knew there was a wait from Breaksmart. Also orded the adapter cable. Did not open the box, knowing me, I just put the box in the truck Wuz not in a big hurry as I don't have the 5th wheel Titanium yet.
Taked with Steve, from braksmart yesterday, before it arrived, and did learn that in a short time they will be able to have the breaksmart display the EGT and boost with the optional sensors.

that's good news...the email I got from Steve a couple weeks ago said that they were expecting a shipment the week of the 21st and would start shipping soon after that. Hopefully that means I will get mine within the next 10 days.

I also asked him about the EGT/Boost module and he didn't have any info, so it looks like he got some good news on those sensors.

The other day, I was cleaning my truck and somehow managed to push enough buttons in some cosmic order to scramble the BrakeSmart's brains. I unplugged it for a few seconds and it worked fine. Anyway, I wrote to Steve and let him know about what happened and what fixed it as an FYI. The guy insisted on replacing it so they could check my unit as they had NEVER run into that before. Now, THAT is a company that puts Customer Service first right with product quality. I AM IMPRESSED.

Anybody have a good source of supply for the Jordan??
I think my controller would be better suited as a door-stopper (piece of crap!).

Okay let me bring this thread back. I'm replacing my trailer brake and was going to follow the advice here and go with a jordan. The problem her is that the only one I can find in my dealer catalogs is a Jordan 2100, and from the picture looks pretty generic. Is this one of them you all are talking about or is this one of there cheaper versions.

Well, after much research, I decided to go with the Tekonsha Prodigy. It seems to be more high-tech (probably NOT a good thing) than the other controllers in the hundred dollar range. It will get installed in a couple of weeks and we shall see how much better she stops after using the crapper that I have been using for so long.
