Question need brake controller advise

I'm getting a 16 foot twin axle (both brake) trailer, rated 7000 lbs. I'm kinda new at this and want some advise on getting a bake controller. I would think that just an average everyday controll devise would be ok for my occasional use. But any opinions would be appreciated.

I don't tow much, but will put ATVs (4 would probably just be over 2200 lbs, so with trailer weight that is still only about 4000lbs). When we go hunting, there "should" be a lot more coming back, like a moose or two. So the tow weight could get up there a bit. Any suggestions?

FiverBob will tell you to get a Jordan. For around 100 bucks, it is probably the best out there. If you want the best brakes at any cost, then go BrakeSmart. Bob, what's your rig worth? (couldn't let Bob off that easy)

Oh you guys are just sooooo cute.

Mike - - for what you are going to pull, the Jordan will be super. If you intend on moving up to a bigger one later, or have an extra $250 burning a hole in your pocket, then buy the BrakeSmart. Or, I think Casey has some WorldCom stock he will sell you cheap.

Got to go along with Fiver Bob on this one. It took me all of a half hour to install the Jordan and it works better than I expected. Like 5er said, if ya got an extra $250, go for Brakesmart.
If ya got common sense however, Jordan's the play. ( I got your back Bob) (here we go again...)

Just make sure it is the Ultima 2020, not the cheaper time based one.

Oh brother. Nobody can protect BrakeSmartless Bob 24/7. When you aren't looking I will get him.

I ordered the Brakesmart about 10 days ago, seems there is a waiting list can't be in a hurry I guess on this one. I called the other day to check on it, I'm use to things arriving within a week after I order them, it will ship next week or shortly after.
