Nash or Arctic Fox?
I'm off to look at some '03 trailers today. My first choice for floorplan is the 26Z made by Northwoods. It comes in the Nash and Arctic Fox lines. The Fox is higher end but weighs about 1800# more. These are both pretty heavy travel trailers anyway with a 10,000# GVW. The Nash does not have heated tanks.
Dealer is offering both at a huge discount, but there is still a $2,000 difference.
Thoughts?
100 Proof

Re:Nash or Arctic Fox?
I went through this earlier this year. Finally settled on a 30 ft. discontinued Nash model because the price (50% MSRP) was too good to pass up and the trailer fit our needs.
Visited the Northwood factory in Winchester, Virginia before making the purchase. There's no difference in construction-beneath-the-skin between the Nash and Arctic Fox lines. Materials, frame, running components, plumbing, insulation, etc., are the same. The Fox has more standard features, including the heated tanks. Most of those features, however, are furnishings, and to my mind, the Nash furnishings were very good as it was. You could equip a Nash with the same options and it would weigh & cost about the same. Mine came with options like the shocks and the heated tanks. (I highly recommend the shocks, and all Nash trailers are equipped to mount them easily.)
IMO, it's a subjective decision -- depends on which one you like better, and whether it's worth $2000.

I ended up with the Fox. It had the hardside, a few more options, and the price the dealer was offering was too good to pass up. I'll pick it up Saturday morning.
See you out there!

Congrats, 100 Proof. From everything I've seen on these trailers, you'll love it. I'm looking at an Arctic Fox 285D, or I might go to a toy hauler (depends on what we do with the wife's ride). Enjoy, and post some pics after you get it.

Re:Nash or Arctic Fox?
I just bought a 22G Fox, you went the right way. I had a Nash that I traded in. The Fox and Nash are close and the Nash now allows for most of the Fox as options.
I am not sure that the ducted heating, different doors and heated tanks are available on the Nash.
I went to the fiberglass exterior and really like it. I swear it must have a higher insulation value?
