Moving an overwidth boat ?

102" is the legal width limit. Any wider and you have to have permits. That is nation wide.

Texas the permit is $60 and it's daytime only.

Then I bet 90% of people towing in Texas don't know that the speed limit is 55 no matter what the signs say.

Yep...101 or 102...something like that...basically 8 and a HALF feet...sorry about that. I was just trying to give him a round about figure. When you start getting up to 10, 11 and 12 feet widths, it is VERY noticable that you are too wide and you are just rolling to dice as to whether or not you get pulled over and get yourself a fat ticket.

Here's a link for Florida permits. Once there scroll down, you'll see Oversize/Overwieght permits. Last one we got was 10 dollars. Good for a year for over width. Should not need a escort at your width.
