Now that's more like it. I wondering what I was looking @ where it said $2500? Have any of ya'll used this before? I'm looking for something to take away the push-pull effect from my 5'er. Is there a cheaper alternative?

Dang man, how cheap do you want it??? I just Googled your description and that was like the second site I looked at. You might try the same, could be cheaper elsewhere. It looks like a nice setup.

The air cushion kingpin helps some in the ride and definitely saves some banging on the framework of the kingpin. However, if you look close, it cannot move forward/backward to cushion bucking. Smoothing out the up/down helps some. If you really need to address the bucking problem, you need to get something that is not hinged to only move up and down. I bought the Air Safe hitch. The head moves in all directions - -up - down - side to side - fore - aft. It truly smooths out everything. If you consider the price of a normal hitch plus the kingpin addition, the Air Safe is about the same price. Mine made a tremendous difference.

If you all ready have a hitch but want to address the bucking action, consider the MORryde rubber mounted kingpin that moves fore/aft. It will really cushion the bucking action.

I bought the MORryde kingpin first - - the difference was quite amazing. Then, after kingpin framing collapse, I bought the Air Safe. It was again amazing how much better it was. Had I known all this first, I would have purchased the Air Safe and been done with it. If you move to the 25K version, it uses a Holland head which is like the OTR trucks use - - it makes the normal hitch head look like a toy.

Pullrite's Super 5th wheel hitch addresses the pull/buck pretty decently. Combined with the 5th Airborne pin they do pretty good. Add the Morryde system to the mix and you get a VERY NICE riding 5th wheel.
