Thats funny that you say that bout the milage that was the joke when i hauled it, I told ppl that it was the only way i could get 10 MPG out of it. Actually it was such a pile of crap i would only run bout 45 and I was delivering it so i just loaded it up and haulded it worked better for me.

I was driving threw Wasilla, AK one day and a 2nd gen 3500 pulled into town with a GN and 2 tractors on the trailer, about that size, but 4x4 and dual rear wheels.
My heaviest load was from North Texas to SW Missouri, probably about 350 miles. Truck weighs a little over 8000lbs. The gooseneck probably weighed in around 3500lbs and the John Deere Tractor was around 15,000lbs with water in the rear tires.
I stopped at some CAT Scales on the way......and it totaled 26,380lbs gross.
5020 front axle, 6200 rear axle, and 15,160 on the trailer axles. It was a little overweight, but the truck pulled it great. Smarty still on level 9. Stock auto trans. EGTs hovered around 900 degrees on the flats and probably 1300 on some of the steeper hills.

Nothing surprizes me anymore about what some people pull with our trucks. I know my load is pretty small compared to many guys on here. But it is the heaviest I have ever pulled. (stock trans, stock suspension, NO airbags, Smarty on level 9) I thought it done good.
Pulling 2 of these tractors....with 4x4/duals would be quite a feat. I'd like to see a pic!

I run hot shots part time. I have a 35-5 GN with 4 ramps, Hutch suspension, 12k dexters with electic over hydraulic disk brakes. I hit the scales empty at 17700. I loaded 15,600 on it once, had about 10 inches of deck left on the back. That put me just over 33K. Only went about 15 miles, but no problem for that big red monster. Most of my loads run between 5-10K.

hauled a load of boulders with a jd 260 skidsteer on my 32 ft and grossed out a little over 42k but that was only a 25 mile run. Came back from Iowa and Ohio with loads of old barn wood and both times was around 34 to 36k gross. Both of those trips where over a 1100 miles as far as heavy equipment the largest that i haul are an 850 case dozer and a t16 cat loader

on our 25+5 10 ton gooseneck we had 3,000 gallon fertilizer=33,000#, tank, frame, pumps=1500#, 4 pallets of seed=10,000#, trailer itself=5,000#, truck 2500 duramax=6500#, TOTAL GROSS=53,000# I think we bent the frame on dads truck and would only do about 30mph and that was fast enough. I think I can claim top prize!! what did I win? lol
