Jordan Brake Controller
I just bought a new 06 quadcab CTD. I love it! Can anyone tell be the best place to purchase a Jordan brake controller? I can't wait to pull the 5er toy hauler. I used to dread pulling it with my 2000 chevy with 454, it sucked the gas.

You can buy from the factory direct. That is what I did. Actually I think its an outfit in Georgia that sells them for the factory. By the way. The controller is great. Just be very careful during installation of the controller. Ya don't wanna bind the cable too much.

Buy from Jordan, put one in a while ago. I like the 'mechanical' aspect of it, no electronic feedback BS.

www.bestbrakecontroller.com save you about 10 bucks over ordering from jordan I think. Edit: nevermind they are out of stock.

I just found out that you can't get a jordan brake controller, they lost one of their suppliers and they are out. This is bad for me because I need a controller now, so i will have to go with a different brand.
Any second choices??

I did check ebay and everything google brought up - nothing. I ended up getting a prodigy. I'll see how it works, hopefully Jordan gets things worked out.

You might consider getting the BrakeSmart. I had a Jordan and I liked it but it kept sticking on and I would have to come to a stop and play with it to get it to turn off. Then the current would stay on all night sometimes. The cable system is a good idea and easy to understand but it's touchy and busy.
The BrakeSmart is a little too smart but it works well and doesn't depend on deceleration to come on like the Prodigy. I found the BrakeSmart easier to install than the Jordan too. The Prodigy is probably the easiest of all.
