I wonder if that contraption is even street legal. I would guess DOT would have a lot of fun with someone on the highway using such a... device?

i usually run about 5 over, whether the speed limit is 45 or 80.and yes (FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT NEVER LEAVE THE NORTHEAST)there are many 75-80 zones in the southwest. i think i keep my truck and trailer in excellent condition as far as hotshot trucks go.i think if it was considered unsafe, one of the many LEOs out there would let me know when i pass them at 80.i guess thats why we have speed limits in the first place?hmmm

Ya know,,,,,,,, I think the coil spring on the rear shock of my Electra Glide is about the same size as that.......

If your truck sags bad enough to need this "Here,, hold my beer and fire up the welder" piece of engineering,,,,,,, You really need to think about buying a bigger truck.

And on a side note: If you've never seen "The Long, Long Trailer",,,,,, it's hilarious! I laugh every time I see it.

I wonder what the speed rating is on that little tire, and I wonder how much weight was in that poor F150 to turn the headlights into searchlights .....

"We don't need no stinkin' DOT certs...Hell Ya, Billy Bob and Cooter sez it works real good ('ceptin when ya goes over a big bump)"

There's quite a few hitchs that are designed to address payload and towing stability issues. Here's the ones I 've seen.
