How much can my truck tow
Does anyone now the tow capacity of a 2006 Dodge 2500 4x4 Cummins Diesel? I want to purchase a Cardinal 33TBH LE and don't know if this fiver will be too heavy. Opinions?
Thanks,

Welcome to DTR, You shouldn't have any problems I pull a 31ft Gulfstream FBHS and don't know its back there. You may want to invest into some Timberens.

You can tow +/- 15,000lbs depending on rearend. I would guess the Cardinal is around 10,000lbs dry ??? Maybe 13,000 fully loaded for camping.
I'm pulling a 14,500lb toyhauler with 3,000lbs of pinweight and have no problems at all.
I think your good go.
Drive safely, and get a set of airbag, and Jake brake, and a big ice chest.
Have Fun

the rear end he is talking about is the ratio(probably) you can only get the 11.5 in our trucks.
the rear question isnt how much can you tow, it should be how much can you safely control and stop? that truck will haul 25,000 #'s. but can you do it without hurting anyone?
that is the reason for the exhaust brake suggestion. but 15k, no problem.
