How long can I be ...legally

I have a 29 Ft. TT and want to put a hitch on the back to be able to bring a boat camping with us. Buddy says I'll be over legal length. Any one know for sure?

Yeah, but that is just for the toll road. Thanks for looking for me! I am just trying to find it in print to keep with me. I know I can handle it, and the truck can too. Don't want some "Barney" giving me the runaround. Looked like 65' , but on another forum it someone stated that that is only fot 5th wheel combinations. 2 bumper pulls are restricted. All help is appreciated!

Indiana DOT website states for two vehicle combination 60'0 - over special permit needed. Just type Indiana vehicle length into google search.

In NM, you can have a total length of 65'. You can not pull another trailer behind a tounge pull, but behind only a 5th wheel or gooseneck.

most states require the 1st trailer to be a 5vr or GN, and that trailer MUST be rated for a hitch in the rear that will support the 2nd trailer.

either way, 65 ft is the max length.

67feet here in Alberta, but first unit must be a fifth wheel. And personally I wouldnt want to tow a bumper pull behind a bumper pull,, that would put some very weird dynamics into play, let alone backing up.turning, weight distribution, sway,,,,, i would think about that one very carefully
