Hitch Reciever Suggestions

I am looking for a quality class IV hitch. I would like to keep cost reasonably low, however, ease of instalation and durability of hitch are also important. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I have seen Cabela's has receiver hitches. If I recall correctly the dealership where I bought my truck had them for about $110.

Cabela's Go here and on the left side click on Automotive/ATV then in all the choices they have a section for towing, RVs and performance. They show a Class IV for about $170, don't know how that compares elsewhere but it is a start.

my hidden hitch is a class 5 and it cost me like $169 plus tax. its rated 12000 & 1200 straight and 14000 &1400 weight distribution. it fits nicely , was easy to install , and has the area for your wiring

Try www.hitch-web.com - Tony over there is very knowledgeable and thier prices are very good. I bought a class V Puntman from them.

My research said go with Putnam - no drilling of the frame was a big item for me and for the class V capacity, it was a pretty good deal. Only downside (minor, IMHO) is that you need to torch cut away the OEM hitch and clean it up with an angle grinder. I had the torching done at a muffler shop, no big deal, rest I installed myself.
