I got the factory hitch off. Not and easy task BTW. Had to remove bed bolts and lift bed, Take off bumper. The Hitch I bought was reese 44536, I installed very easy after a couple hours of fighting with my old one. But then went to put bumper back on. it doesnt even come close to goiing back on. The bumper brackets hang off the side of the frame towards the outside. This wants the brackets towars the inside. So any ideas??? Reese says it should work, Dodge doesnt have any different brackets for a truck with out a tow hitch

 

 

Ok moral of this story is, Just cut old one off
