dad used to haul bidirectional ford 9030's from houston to okc.......i dont know the exact weight off the top of my head but i know we cant take the tractor over some bridges on back roads!

If you have farm plates they should leave you alone with the weight issue. My dad has hauled lots of heavy loads with farm plates and he hasn't had any issues at all. I think the biggest he ever hauled was grossing around 40k on a relatively short trip with his old 99 CTD dually, but he had several in the 28-30k range from central Arkansas to NE Texas

i used to haul a new holland 2550 self propelled swather with my chevy k3500. i never had any problems but it was all county roads and if i went over 20 it would get a little crazy. not to mention the header was always on it. just go slow and youll be fine
