We've had 6 of the Goodyear G614, load range E on our triple axle 18K fiver for 3 years now. No problems so far. Lots of miles all over western USA.

Now do you have your psi adjusted to load range E or do they make a tire with a load range E? I though they were G's. Now I know you can make them E by lowering the psi.
That's another thing I like about the GY. I can just go ahead and buy them and adjust the psi to the load.

You really need to know what axles you have. If they are seven thousand lb each, the michelins won't work at max load. With my fifth wheel, when time comes, I'll put the xps ribs on since my axles are rated at 6000 each. The Trailer weight is 14030 at max. So that would be 12000lbs on the axles and 2000 on the hitch. I bought my trailer to match the Trucks Max GCWR.
Everyone I know that has the XPS RIBS on have never had a problem short of catching a nail.

Their 6k axles. Your right I haven't heard anyone with a problem with the XPS's and I've been lookin all over. There are two things about the GY I like though. First they give a bit of over protection weight wise and it seems GY stands behind there stuff. I have heard if there is a problem they even repair the camper! In this day and age that's sayin something. On the other hand if you don't have a problem.....................
