Heaviest Load hauled?
#46
Also i posted the story behind this the first time i put the pic on DTR. The short side of it was that i pulled into a field with a couple ford boys and they had their trailers double rowed on the bottom, and single rowed on the top. So i loaded my trailer 'extra heavy' and when i pulled out of the field the look on their face was priceless. Something like
and i used a John Deere 6110 cab tractor. she barely reached up to the top one
Omaha is about 30~40 minutes from Lead Hill

I live in SWMO and we don't see any 3 high loads of hay. Mainly cuz we bale em bigger. All that said that's an impressive load but I don't think I would do it daily. Good luck and keep truckin

GJ, lol i wouldnt do it daily either! to many clerance issues. if i would have pulled it through town i would have taken out all the stoplights
Yea and i dont think ive ever driven a tractor that would stack them 3 high if the bales were 4x6's or 5x6's. Our big JD barely reached up there

This is the heaviest. I've done that many bales a number of times before, but these were a bit on the heavy side. Enough so that the rear of the tractor we used to unload would come up when you grabbed one if you weren't careful.

actually just the other day i seen a dodge regular cab dually without a bed running through town. i had to do a double take because it had the king pin hook up for the big trailers. Looked like he pulled it straight off a big rig and bolted it to his frame rails.
How much does a 53' flat bed weigh?

law dosnt like the triple stack here in TX, a few have tried it, but with the 5x6bales it dont work so good. i even had city cops stop me cause he claimed i was overloading 2 10K axles he didnt realize i had 2 15K axles.

Not tring to start a fight, but look at this :http://www.inlinediesel.com/trucks/3gen/15/index.html
this is 26- 4'X6' (wXh) on a 40' straight deck and that is all I can put on with out putting one on the GN
good load reguardless!
are they 6' wide??

Your not starting a fight.. They are 5' wide and 6' high, I am guessing the weight at about 1,000 per bale, the trailer has 10k dual tandem axels, the trailer itself is 8k giving me 28k total + or -. If I was only pulling it under a 100 miles I would probably put more but I go threw several towns and drive by a lot of stupid people that don't know how to drive so I figure I will play it safe.
Do you have air-bags on your truck?
