you will need a ball to pull it with, nothing else that's what the trucks are made for. Now if you have some mods on it, you will need some gauges to be sure your egts don't get to hot, but stock hook and go

What type of trailer? Travel trailer, 5th wheel, gooseneck, bumper pull? There are many different trailers out there, and all need consideration. Being 26-30 foot, I would not even entertain bumper pull unless it is a travel trailer. Weight distributing hitch and sway bars would be a necessity if you are pulling a travel trailer, otherwise you will be white knuckling the entire trip. If it is a goose of 5th wheel, then you need the appropriate hitch in the bed of the truck. The advantage to bed mounted hitches is that they pull so much nicer, and are actually easier on the truck. Hope this helps.

You'll need a ball, ball mount, and brake controller (to help you stop....). We'll presume that you're already pre-wired.

There are plenty of threads on brake controllers. I like my Jordan.

sway bars

It is gonna be a 26-30 travel trailer, I already have a brake controler and air bags on the rear, do I need a rear sway bar to or is the wieght distributing hitch gonna be enough. The only thing I have done to the truck is a s&b air intake. Thanks

Personally I think you will find that the airbags are going to stiffen up the rear end enough that you won't need a sway bar. When I had my Dodge 1500, I was towing a '22 toyhauler at 7000lbs. As soon as I installed the airbags and went to 50psi, I did not need the weight distributing hitch anymore and the truck towed the trailer like a dream....even passing semi's or in a crosswind. So I would hook up and tow it and then decide if you need any additional sway control.

Oh one last thing...a buddy of mine had some slight sway issues and instead of buying a sway bar, he opted for stiffer sidewall tires on his trailer (went to D's) and it made a big improvement.
