Smile Got a Prodigy today

Well my old brake controller finally went out a little while ago so it was time to get a new one, so I went out and bought a prodigy. I don't tow everyday or anything like some of you guys but I was defintley tired of the cheap brake controllers I have had in the past. Installing it was easy thanks to the little yellow thing wraped around the wires telling you how to hook it up to all different makes and models, so that was a plus. Anyways, I hooked up to my trailer today to go for a 200 mile trip, about 5,500 pounds, and it worked awesome, I cannot belive that I never spent the money for a good controller before. Now I can see why you guys always say get a good one, you get what you pay for.

Glad to hear it since I'm getting ready to order one for the new truck! 5 more weeks and I won't be truckless anymore.

I did the same thing everyone else does at first. I have a Drawtite brake controller that uses time and max brake settings. I hate it. Adjusting the darn thing all the time. I am going with the Jordan 2020. Just talked to the wife and got the O.K. She wasn't to keen on the Brakesmart unit. Little pricey. Want my horses to have a smooth ride.

I got the Prodigy too. Best bang for the buck and works quite well. I especially like the boost feature for quick brake application.
