Gooseneck hitch ID?

Ive got a goose neck hitch in my bed that was on the truck when i bought it. I was wondering if you guys could give me a guess of how much it is rated for? I looked around on the internet and it seems that most are rated for 30,000lbs and 7,500 PW. Anywere on the hitch i can look? It looks as if it also has brackets on the outside frame rails. Tell me whatcha think.

Note: ive never hooked up or even seen a gooseneck being hooked up, none the less towed one, so bear with me.

looks like the b & w turnover ball that I just installed in my pickup If so they are rated for 30,000 lbs. Extremely nice hitch. Look them up at turnoverball.com

I agree, looks to be a B&W. I just learned how to hook a GN up this spring, it's kind of funny how little there is to it, I mean what actually locks the two together

B&W it is. I would mic the ball for correct size. I have had to replace them as they have and will wear out. Goodluck,,Rick

Nice!!! Mine looks to be some home made deal with a big *** plate in the bed and 2 looks sticking up. I'm sure it's plenty strong, but it sure makes loading plywood a PAIN!

You have to order the 'special' sheets of plywood that are notched out.

dzl look in yer drivers side wheel well and you should see a funny looking metal hook that will allow you to pull on it and you can turn that hitchball over and really see the ball

Of course! What was I thinking??

I'll just look for the sheets with a knot in that exact area, and knock the knot out of it...

Oughtta be easy enough, right?
