Gooseneck hitch ID?
Ive got a goose neck hitch in my bed that was on the truck when i bought it. I was wondering if you guys could give me a guess of how much it is rated for? I looked around on the internet and it seems that most are rated for 30,000lbs and 7,500 PW. Anywere on the hitch i can look? It looks as if it also has brackets on the outside frame rails. Tell me whatcha think.

While i was under the truck i noticed the ubolt deals in the bed had springs underneath. I had no idea what they did, untill i sat here a looked at it.....are they for the chains????
Note: ive never hooked up or even seen a gooseneck being hooked up, none the less towed one, so bear with me.

Nice!!! Mine looks to be some home made deal with a big *** plate in the bed and 2 looks sticking up. I'm sure it's plenty strong, but it sure makes loading plywood a PAIN!

You have to order the 'special' sheets of plywood that are notched out.

I'll just look for the sheets with a knot in that exact area, and knock the knot out of it...
Oughtta be easy enough, right?
