Golf cart in short bed while pulling travel trailer...

I know you said length isn't a problem, but is there a way you can load it side ways?? Just lay 2 2/12's on the bed rails (you know strap them in and all) and drive the cart up on the side? I agree with the 2x4's in length wise and drive one (have done that before) and you could even cut some lengh of board to put under the end when you drive on (keep it from lifting in the front) It's a pain and I know exactly what your trying to do.
Not sure how hard your jack is to get to, but would it be easy to just unbolt the trailer jack then bolt it back on? We have a heavy duty lift on our car hauler, but heck our boat has a nice swing jack, maybe even move the jack a bit? Just ideas. I can do the same thing with my truck. Due to the high back and the low trailer tounge height, I can drive with the tail gate down and the jack just swings under it (it's close though around 1/2 I really watch how heavy of something I put on the tail gate)
One cool idea I saw on a U haul trailer (ok laugh guys) was the jack was angled at a 45, and the other leg was at a 45 from the tounge, so it was almost like a sissor jack, worked just as good, but the jack was angled back, so the tounge wouldn't hit the tail gate??

I was up in Canada last summer and saw a nice 2500 pulling a good size bumper pull camper. Then IN THE BED they had one of those Smart Cars. He did have airbags though to keep the rear end up. So I don't think that a golf cart would be a big deal to rig up.
I have photos of it. I just wish I could find some time to host it somewhere and then learn how to link it to the message board.

EDIT: I was able to load the photo into my gallery. As soon as its approved check it out.

I think what I've done will work. We'll see as I need to do it next week. I can work on a more permanent solution after I return home.
Just put some tow bars on it
