5000# for the pair; each psi gives 50# of weight capacity, and the whole system has a small volume.

So if my rear axle weight with trailer is going to be around 8,000lbs is that O.K. with these bags? Looking at getting a set. Want to be sure it will support my weights.

The airbags will hold more than 5K#, and the leaf springs will hold way more than that - so four decent tires in the back should give you 7 tons rear axle capacity no problem... but I'm not sure you'd be legal

Bags and mounts are around $235. The adjustable air kit and gauge is $189. Total is $424.00. Not to bad of a price.

Hey can you use the single air control and have the bags on 2 different lines? If i can't do this I will have to spring for the dual guage and controls which is $289. Is it worth it to have control over both bags individually?

Not for me it wasn't - I ran both lines to the hitch receiver plate/bracket so I can air them up independently... saved me two bills at least.

I believe if you have a truck camper (in the bed), it's helpful to get the two gauge system, because they may be heaver on one side or the other at different times, Like if your holding tanks are full. Yes I'd recommend the two gauge kit.
I have the single gauge system, works great with my 5er. When your driving down the road an hit a bad stretch of highway (like going through New York City) just hit the button and pump up to 90 lbs. Come out the other side an drop it down to 20 lbs and have a nice soft ride. No stopping and getting out, pulling out pump, well you get my meaning. Not to offend anyone, but I'm just lazy or maybe it's getting old. Anyway I say you can't beat the air pump system witch ever one you decide on.

That is what I wanted to use it for. If I am coming up on a rough RailRoad crossing I may want to air up just to make sure I don't bottom out and damage my holding tanks or if I am pulling into a rough campsite I may want to air up then. I don't want to have to get out and hold up traffic while I air up my bags.
