fifth wheel to haul gooseneck conversion
i have seen them for the big fifth wheels but does anyone know if you can tow a gooseneck with a fifth wheel to gooseneck conversion thanks

i am not sure i understand , if you have a goose-neck trailer and you have a 5th wheel truck that uses rails to pin the 5th wheel on like Reese then all you have to do is take the 5th wheel out and they make a plate with a ball that mounts on the rails with the same pins , only takes about 5 minutes to swap between the two go to etrailer.com they have pix there

Many goose neck trailer manufactures design their trailers so the piece that comes down and hooks into the hitch can be removed with two bolts and you can install either a ball adapter or fifth wheel pin. That way you can pull it with either. I am just having a trailer built with this kind or set up.

thank yall for the help i had an adapter that had the shank for the fifth wheel on one side and the ball for the gooseneck on the other bur havent seen one or found one like it in years. i will try to find or make one tired to comtact bmw my hirch maker but they havent responded in two emails or returned any phone calls. thanks again LeRoy

My father in law bought a conversion from 5th wheel to gooseneck for his rv trailer. 4 bolts, and he welded it on there, and it works great, no problems. He just got back a month ago from PA with it.
