Electric Jack on trailer

Electric Jack on trailer
Replaced my hand jack with an electric one on my 05 Rampage Toy hauler less then two years ago, well it's shot already (the back up crank sucks on the jack)
The one I had on there didn't let my tailgate go down all the way. Anyone out there know of an electric jack that doesn't hit the tailgate?
Thanks,

just a thought... what about using the sissor type electric jacks you see on] the back of high dollar 5vers?? would those work, be nowhere near your bumber cause you mount en under the front of your trailer, and probally a lot more stable when you are using it.

Mine used to hit also. A slightly longer shank on the hitch fixed that problem. I think I only needed about 1½. Some of the shanks I have seen are long enough that you could just drill another hole. It has to be almost perfect for the pin to fit. Bob H
