Don't you want a Duramax????

Saw this poor guy this last summer in Idaho while travelling across country. His tie-rod let go while coming around the corner.

Then you should like the new mega cab, I ordered the quad cab, the other is too much cab for me, I just need room my haul my English Mastiff. Next year they are going to offer the mega cab in a long bed version.
I looked at the ford, dodge and chevy before I decided on one. The local Allison dealer has a ton of transmissions out of Chevy's that are fried, that 6spd auto is a great idea, just pricy when it goes. Also, I would at least like chrome wheel skins or alum. rims on a $50,000 truck, chevy just gives you chrome center caps, I think their loaded version is way up there in price. The Ford is much more truck than the Chevy for the $$$, and I think it had the best appearance inside and out, but the dodge stopped, turned, and rode better. Also, the 6.0 I drove was a dog, my 95 PSD had more power than it did. I loved the power of the Cummins, and since i have a friend working at freightliner, who got me one of the emp. numbers, plus I got the 2500 rebate. I would have bought the Dodge, even without the emp discount, but it helps when you can get over $10,000 off.
